Scottish Bat Workers' Conference 2023

Scottish Bat Workers' Conference

The Scottish conference will provide an opportunity for volunteer and professional bat workers across Scotland to spend time together: updating their knowledge, sharing best practice, developing their skills and catching up on the latest 'bat chat'. The 2023 Scottish Bat Conference will be held at Stirling University as a joint event with the universities’ Biological & Environmental Sciences.

The day will include spotlight talks from various bat groups across Scotland, longer talks on projects or sharing new knowledge and research talks.

There will be a regional priorities discussion session at the end of the day, which will provide a forum for bat worker's to share questions, successes and priorities for bat work in Scotland.

NB there are no workshops as part of the conference programme, but the day following the conference, there will be a separate training event in form of a Scottish Nathusius' Pipistrelle Skills Development workshop - Sunday 5th March, at Stirling University.
