BCT is committed to ensuring that conservation policy, practice and guidance is based on a robust scientific evidence base. BCT uses and generates scientific evidence to underpin bat conservation in the UK and further afield. Experts from a number of academic institutions support BCT with technical advice.
Research priorities
BCT has identified nineteen priority research areas where further evidence is needed to help inform and direct bat conservation in the UK. Click here to download the full list. We encourage research to address these priority questions and welcome opportunities to collaborate on research at PhD level and above where funding is in place.
