Sad loss of a great friend to bat conservation

We are extremely saddened to have to let you know that our dear friend, Dr Kate Barlow, unexpectedly passed away on Monday 23rd of November. Kate worked for the Bat Conservation Trust for over a decade. She was loved and respected throughout the bat conservation world and her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her. We will be posting a tribute to Kate in due course but for now, I'm sure you will join us in sending our deepest sympathies to her family and her many close friends. (We can pass on cards to her parents, Chris and Sue.)
